Skin Barrier Hydration

What we measure

Dry, flaky cat skin is almost always a barrier problem — the lipid mortar between skin cells thins out, water escapes, and flakes form on the surface. Our hydration ritual delivers ceramide-supportive humectants in a thin emulsion that the coat carries down to skin contact during the dry-out. Results show through within 24-48 hours: less visible dandruff, softer coat, and reduced over-grooming behaviour at home.

Active ingredients

  • Colloidal Oatmeal Role
    • Forms a thin moisture-locking layer over the coat.
    • Moisturizing: helps retain moisture, preventing dryness.
    • Cleansing: gently cleanses without stripping natural oils.
    • pH Balancing: maintains the skin's natural pH.
    • Antioxidant: contains avenanthramides that protect the skin from damage.
  • Serum Role
    • Omega-3 & omega-6 fatty acids: among the best-evidenced ingredients for cat coat health — support the skin barrier, reduce inflammation and flaking, improve shine and softness.
    • Humectants (hyaluronic acid, glycerin): pull and hold water in the skin.
    • Conditioning oils: coat the hair shaft, reduce breakage and tangling, add gloss.
    • Vitamins/antioxidants (e.g. vitamin E): protect against oxidative damage.
  • Sea Mud Role
    • Exfoliation: a natural exfoliant that removes dead skin cells and promotes new cell growth.
    • Hydration: minerals help retain moisture, preventing dryness and flakiness.
